Prerequisite - RMA Program Additional Requirement
To enroll in the RMA program, you must be an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing.

Student Expectations

Attendance Policy

Regular attendance is essential for your success.

Classroom Attendance

  • Maximum of 2 unexcused absences allowed
  • Students must notify the school of any absence
  • Excessive absences may result in dismissal
  • Make-up work may be required for missed classes

Clinical Requirements

  • All clinical hours must be completed
  • No absences allowed during clinical rotations
  • Students must arrive on time and prepared
  • Professional conduct required at all times

Student Conduct

Professional behavior is expected at all times.

Professional Standards

  • Maintain professional appearance and behavior
  • Respect instructors, staff, and fellow students
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information

Uniform Requirements

  • Sea-blue scrubs (top and bottom)
  • Non-skid, closed-toe shoes
  • Student ID badge visible at all times
  • Hair secured and neat appearance

Disciplinary Actions

Violations of conduct policies may result in verbal warning, written warning, suspension, or dismissal from the program depending on the severity of the infraction.

Payment Requirements

  • All payments must be made in person at the school
  • Payment required before class start date
  • Cash, credit card, or cashier's check accepted
  • Payment plans may be available upon request

Refund Policy

  • Refunds only available before class start date.
  • No refunds after the first day of class
  • Processing fee may apply to refund requests
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing

Important Notice

All tuition must be paid in full before the start of classes. Students who have not completed payment will not be permitted to attend classes and may lose their reserved seat.

Wellness Nursing Institute is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing to provide CNA and RMA training programs. Our curriculum meets all state requirements and prepares students for successful completion of state certification exams.

Upon successful completion of our programs, graduates are eligible to take the Virginia state certification examinations.
